Owners Paddy & Bryce Kassulke and their son, winemaker John Handy are thrilled to have won the prestigious award Winestate Wine of the Year Award for their 2007 Reserve Chardonnay.

For the first time in 13 years of the Winestate Wine of the Year competition, the winner was a white wine - Heritage Estate Reserve Granite Belt Chardonnay 2007. Given that Australia is noted mainly for its reds, this in itself is unusual, but what makes it so wonderful is that it was a Queensland Chardonnay that took out this coveted award.

Hidden away in the Gold Coast Hinterland lies Tamborine Mountain Distillery, Australia's most Internationally Awarded Distillery and Liquor Brand. With the combination of rich red volcanic soils and fresh Spring water, the abundant fruit of the mountain is fermented and distilled.

Set in a charming tudor style backdrop, Tamborine Mountain Distillery offers a unique European experience with products made entirely from Australian produce by Australians.

Family owned and operated this boutique distillery uses small copper pot stills and traditional methods of distillation to create their range of over 70, naturally produced and chemical free, fine liqueurs, vodka, schnapps and eaux de vie.

The vineyard consists of two varieties including Chambourcin and Verdelho, even though relatively young, our Chambourcin Vines in particular are producing a fabulous Rose. Our other varieties of wines and grapes are sourced from some of Queenslands top vineyards, which provide the winemaker with a wonderful resource when developing our wines.
Cedar Creek Estate Vineyard and Winery is set on a 22 acres and has Cedar Creek flowing through the property, which opens out to Wild Duck Lake, home to many birds and different duck species.

Experience the great boutique wines and port on offer at our friendly cellar door, our professional staff will give an informative review of all our wines which are sold exclusively through our cellar door, Wines Club Members and mail order customers are also welcome.

Wine Tasting is $3.00 per person and is available 7 days a week from 10.00am - 4.00pm. Group Bookings are essential. The Heritage Bar is also available for large groups or a private tasting- a great room where you will enjoy the Australiana ambience.
