St Bernards Hotel has a history dating back to 1881 and it survives as one of the oldest buildings on the mountain. Its "old world" ambience, breathtaking view of the Guanaba Gorge and landscaped gardens combine to make it a very pleasant place to visit.
St Bernards Hotel has been under new ownership and management since January 2005 and the European Chef prides himself on the great food which the Hotel serves.
The Hotel recently featured on Channel 9's "Saturday Afternoon" programme as one of the 10 great Hotels in South East Queensland.
The Hotel retains the tradition of the St Bernard dog and the current dog Basil will welcome visitors, especially children. Basil has endless patience with children and tourists.
The Hotel has a choice of 10 beers, and a great selection of wines. The Gaming Room features a Jetsetter Link and the TAB is supported by live Sky Channel and TVN for a comprehensive race coverage. Foxtel (Channels 1, 2 & 3) ensure the best coverage of sport available on the Mountain.
