Mount Tamborine Winery was the first winery to establish in the Gold Coast Hinterland in the food & wine trail in 1990 by founder Roger Hart, and the Hart family has continued the tradition of growing, making and producing their own wines.

Songbirds in the Forest

Songbirds in the Forest at Mount Tamborine captivates diners with superb food, fine wine and excellent service. Songbirds was awarded Queensland Restaurant of the Year, Best Informal Restaurant and Best Modern Australian Cuisine titles at the State Restaurant and Caterers Awards September 2006.

The Polish Place is an authentic dining experience on Tamborine Mountain, in the green of the Gold Coast Hinterland. St Bernards Hotel has a history dating back to 1881 and it survives as one of the oldest buildings on the mountain. Its "old world" ambience, breathtaking view of the Guanaba Gorge and landscaped gardens combine to make it a very pleasant place to visit.

St Bernards Hotel has been under new ownership and management since January 2005 and the European Chef prides himself on the great food which the Hotel serves.
