A community of people, plants and creatures co-exist on a plateau amid subtropical rainforest at Tamborine Mountain in South East Queensland, Australia.

Business Gold Coast LogoBusinessGC reflects the distinctive and modern way of doing business in Gold Coast City. It shapes, supports and promotes business growth, through its work with government and industry.

The Festival is a Community Project of the Tamborine Mountain Chamber of Commerce, to provide a load of fun for visitors; help local Clubs in raising Funds; support Charities, involve our children through School projects and showcase the Mountain to Visitors.

The Scenic Rim Regional Council was formed after the March 2008 local government elections. Prior to 2008, the population was divided between the (now discontinued) Beaudesert Shire and (now discontinued) Boonah Shire and a small section of southern Ipswich City.

The Scenic Rim Region covers an area of more than 4,250 square kilometres and is home to approximately 34,600 residents.

In 1975 the TMNHA was formed by a dedicated group of people with profound interest in Natural History, a mission to better inform the community, and concern about the rapid disappearance of natural environments.

The "Green behind the Gold" is the term given to the lush hinterland that sweeps up from the golden beaches of the Gold Coast to mountains, plateaus, gorges and valleys that remain at peace with nature. They contain a storehouse of environmental treasures now fully protected in vast swathes of pristine country under the banner of World Heritage Listing as the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia (formerly known as the Central Eastern Rainforest Reserves).
