THE GLASS CASTLE – everything glass is a gallery showroom situated at the Jacaranda tree (top end) of Gallery Walk Tamborine Mountain. Open every day of the year (except Christmas Day).
Specialising in affordable GLASS GIFT lines and unique one off, one of a kind HAND MADE dichroic glass JEWELLERY pieces.
Jenny Chong a Gold Coast local, was the original designer and creator of glass jewellery when it was first sold on Tamborine Mountain 7 years ago. Jenny can proudly claim that all of her work is Australian made whether it is a piece of jewellery, a glass table piece or a mosaic glass wall creation.
The GLASS CASTLE is easily identified from the road with the addition of Jenny’s latest creation a 170cm tall 60 plus kilo MOSAIC SCARECROW which is now a permanent Gallery Walk attraction and a perfect photo stop opportunity. Every piece of glass was cut by hand before being kiln fired and then repositioned onto a 6mm toughened glass base. Note the detailed work in the petals of the flowers, the corn kernels and the detail in the shirt of the scarecrow. Sitting along side the scarecrow is a GLASS BEADED PEACOCK.
