 Enjoy beautiful Tamborine Mountain Rainforest Walks open every day of the week, every day of the year!
Walking tracks are provided in six sections of Tamborine National Park. Most walking tracks are short and can be walked within a few hours.
The walks are relatively easy although some tracks have short, steep grades. At usual walking pace, 3km takes about an hour. If you are walking with young children, or if you are birdwatching or taking photographs, allow extra time. |

The GarterBelts & Gasoline Nostalgia Festival will be held on beautiful Mount Tamborine in 2012 on the Labour Day Long Weekend (Friday the 4th May to Monday the 7th May 2012)
This fun festival started out as a one day show and quickly grew to a weekend, it is the organisers intention to grow the festival to a full four day weekend and to be a must do on the Nostalgia Car & Music calender.
The festival is a celebration of the Cars, Music, Fashion, Art & Lifestyle born of the 1940s & 1950s.
The weekend will involve Vintage Movies at the Tamborine Mountain Zamia Theater, Live Rockabilly, Alt Country, Blues and Roots Music at two Mt Tamborine venues on Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights, there will be a four day Art Exhibition which in the past has attracted American Artists Max Grundy and James Owens.
The weekend will also feature the Hot Rod & Custom Carnivale, this will be held at the Tamborine Mountain show grounds on the Sunday and will feature a Rod & Custom show,Vintage Markets, Live Bands all day, Food Vendors, Art Exhibition, a High Tea & Antique Shop tour.

TAMBORINE MOUNTAIN SCARECROW FESTIVAL
2012 Festival Days
The 5th Annual Tamborine Mountain Scarecrow Festival will be held on Friday 19th, Saturday 20th, Sunday 21st October 2012
It is expected that there will be in excess of 200 Scarecrows appearing along the 14 klm signed trail.
So come on up and enjoy a great weekend!

Conquer the Mountain at Tour de Tamborine
Premier walking, running and cycling event on beautiful Tamborine Mountain.
Sunday, November 25, 2012 - Tamborine Mountain (Mt Tamborine) will host our premier charity sporting event 'Tour de Tamborine'. Now in its 8th year, Tour de Tamborine provides an amazing cycle, run / walk
event. From small beginnings, this yearly event now caters to over 2000 people - all set to conquer the
mountain by tyre or foot.
This year will see a more family focused event with food stalls and entertainment providing a great day out for all ages and levels of fitness.
While not considered a 'race', Tour de Tamborine still offers a great challenge to those keen to push their
stamina and strength. This year will also offer all cyclists the opportunity to time their climb up the hill, using our computerised timing machine. All events are carefully marshalled and managed by the
Tour de Tamborine Committee and their wonderful band of vounteers. Be sure to visit our website and you can register for the following events ...
