  • Eaglemount Lodge B&B – More Information

  • At Eaglemount Lodge we have incorporated a ‘Room Only’ policy on our booking facility. In doing this, our guests can chose their own ‘add ons’ to suit their break away on the mountain.

Since we are so near to Gallery Walk with all its Cafes and Restaurants, our guests have so many choices for eateries, that it is often difficult for them to choose which one to go to! We can help you customise your stay on the Mountain with any number of activities including a Winery Tour, Horse Riding, Hang Gliding, Paragliding or perhaps a Cooking Class? • A Lifestyle Location Tamborine Mountain is an accessible 1 hour drive from Brisbane and a 40 minute drive from the Gold Coast. The Mountain has many wineries, restaurants, craft and antique shops, rainforest walks and its own Golf Course offering something for everyone.

Tamborine Mountain has been a sought after place for holidays since the 1880’s. Then, there were several old style guest houses and the cool climate has always been favoured as a comfortable destination. The area has historic rainforest walks with one of these, Witches Falls being the first National Park in Queensland. Grazing cattle have now been replaced by wineries, cafes and lifestyle pursuits. It is now a gourmet’s paradise with a buzzing café and restaurant scene a micro-brewery and wineries and the naturalist will be hard pressed to find more beautiful walking tracks and rainforest paths.

The historic St Bernards hotel which serves excellent meals lunch and dinner every day is adjacent to the lodge.

The “Edges” grounds have a picturesque creek running through them with an old bush swimming pool and at the edge of the grounds the creek falls over the escarpment. The St Bernards waterfall right next to the lodge was named after St Bernards pass on the Swiss-Italian border by an early surveyor who had his honeymoon there before coming to Australia.

Mt Tamborine has been a favourite holiday destination in South East Queensland for over a century and the “Edges” lodge now provides an alternate elegant holiday experience.

If you require vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, paleo or any other food options, simply let us know when booking.
